We ‘ve got around 7-8nights left on our final leg of South East Asia trip. We are pondering between Nhatrang and Hoian. Please advise the pro& con of each places. We might give a go 3-4 night each places or is it better to make a whole stay in one destination saving transportation time and cost?

As you know, both Nha Trang and Hoian are the most attractive destinations in Vietnam. And the beaches of these places are so beautiful. However, they also have some different things
Nha Trang: Nha Trang has become famous because of the beach and national landscape and attracts a lot of tourists all over the world. Personally, Nha Trang has more things to do than Hoi An. You can find many high-level restaurants, hotels, and resorts, outdoor or indoor games beside the pure beaches. However, Nha Trang is more crowded than Hoian and goods and services tend to be more expensive.
Hoi An: If Nha Trang is a bustle and hustle city, Hoi An is completely peaceful with ancient town, small pretty houses and pure beaches. The beaches in Hoian are lovely and have not had too much big restaurants or resorts near the beaches yet. Therefore, if you want to find quite place to relax, Hoian is the best choice.
In my opinion, Nha Trang and Hoi An are worth to travel. If you have enough time, you should go to both of them. It is easy to take the flight or train from Nha Trang to Hoian (flight Nha Trang to Da Nang and then take 30 minutes for driving to Hoian).
