I will be in Laos and would like being in a places with wifi access.

Hey Chubby, 
Wifi in Lao is good in popular destinations like Phnompenh, Luang Prabang, Vientiane …but if you travel further to mountainous area, I’m not sure. Btw, here’s the cafe shop list have good wifi connection:

Vientiane

Jomo cafe – paid access
Wifi Cafe – free but buy something
Cop de Jar – access site but need connectiuon card

Vangvieng

Magnate 
Wonderland 
Babylon – free but buy something
