G’day!
We are traveling from Australia to Myanmar and we plan to stay in Bagan and Mandalay for a few days. Our time in Mandalay is quite tight given from 8h30 am to 5h30 pm. Is there any taxi or an arranged car to take us from the airport to the city, then touring around town, do some shopping, food, coffee or may be some massage before dropping us back to the airport by 5h30?

There are taxi stands in Yangon and Mandalay, usually second-hand Japanese saloon cars. Fares are low so they are the usual transport for middle-class Burmese. However the traffic in Yangon is often gridlocked. So if your time is tight, it’s better to book an arranged car and guide to make the trip best fit with your time.
