Pare Ponleu Selpak’s Circus School was founded in October 1998 as a gathering spot for volatile, damaged and vulnerable children. At that time, the Anch Chanh village was home to a large number of abandoned children and street kids in conflict with law and their social environment. Today, the Circus School remains an open-access space where students are trained by skilled local teachers and foreign volunteers in the major disciplines of juggling, acrobatics, aerial acts, clowning, balance and dance. The school is initially open in Battambang, then later got expension to Pare Ponleu Selpak. These schools offers art performance to visitors. It is good fun and good cause to attend this show.
