We will be traveling to Laos and our flight landing in Bangkok then connecting flight to ChiengRai. We then cross the border Laos to Huay Xai. The question is that is it possible to do Huay Xai to Odomxai in one day?

Yes, you can travel one day trip from Huay Xai to Odomxai in case that  you arrive at Huay Xai portgate early. From Huay Xai to Oudomxai, it takes you around 6-7hours. Hope it wil help
