Our family will be visiting Myanmar soon for roughly a month. We want to spend time with local people offering helps/work in orphanages and schools.

Hey there,
Your family are so nice but I have to say that there aren’t many tour operators who offer volunteer tours in Myanmar. Yeah, you can visit school and do volunteer by yourself but it’s not so easy to have permit. Here’s some organization you can contact to ask them if you can join volunteer activities in Myanmar:
