I’m going to Laos and would like to visit Northern Laos, please advise places as Huay Xai, Luang Nam tha, Muangsing, Luangprabang. I guest the road condition might be an issue getting there and around?

Hi Geisler,
Northern Laos is so amazing and absolutely worth visiting but I have to say that the road conditions are not good at all. Yeah, some parts are constructed but it doesn’t mean you can travel all these parts safely. If you want to visit Huay Xai, Luang Nam Ha, Luangprabang, it’s better to to travel by motorbike to getting around.
However, Discovery Indochina have some tours enable you to visit the Northern part of Laos by bus, trekking, hiking etc.
