Can I travel from Ha Noi to Halong then Ba Be park by scooter? How far? What about the road conditions?

Yes, you can do that way. Actually it is a loop starting from Hanoi biking southeastern ward to Halong bay for a cruise in Bai Chay, and continuing onward to Lang Son bypassing HongGai, Cua Ong, Van Don . Staying in LangSon for one night then head on to Cao Bang, it is here you can visit Ban Gioc Water fall, and stay the night in Caobang. The next day in ride down to Bac Can, and explore Ba-be national park with boat trip on this beautiful lake. After that you ride through Thai Nguyen with tribal musem and back to Hanoi after 4-5day trip
