I will traveling to Vietnam. I heard that night life there is frenetic and exciting. I would be grateful if any one could offer some suggestions and activities, do & don’t as I don’t want my evening holed up in my room watching TV

Hanoi and Saigon have night life but in other cities, you shouldn’y expect too much. However, night life in Sai Gon and Hanoi is trully exciting.There’re many places to go and things to do. I’ll tell you some in Hanoi
1. Street food at street food:
Vietnamese people love eating and our street foods are served all day. In Hanoi, you can visit street food in number 1, Điện Biên Phủ Street or the area around old quater.
2. Bia hơi (Fresh beer) in Tạ Hiện street:
People love the atmosphere here and beer is to cheap to be true. You can enjoy street music too.
3. Bar and Pub:
What about bar and pub. Some have really interesting DJ. You can dance until you die and the price is also reasonable.
Some popular bar or pub:
– Hair of the dog
– The Doors
– Rooftop bar
4. Night market:
Right at the corner of Hoan Kiem Lake, the night market open on the night of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can buy anything you want, clothes, foods, postcards, tools …
5. Bicycle around Hanoi:
Rent a bike and explore West lake in Hanoi.
