Can visitor go to Phuquoc island from Cambodia without a visa? I heard that now traveler can get a 30day visa exemption for Phuquoc Island but how people can get there? This can be done upland landing Phuquoc airport or can it be done at the border of Hatien/TinhBien?

Foreigners can stay in Phu Quoc Island not more than 30 days without visa obey to decision No.80/2013/QD-TTg dated on December 27th 2013 on special regulations to develop Phu Quoc Island and Kien Giang province.

According to new decision No.80/2013/QD-TTg dated on December 27th  2013 issued by Nguyen Tan Dung-Prime President on special regulations to develop Phu Quoc Island and Kien Giang province, foreigners or Vietnamese who has foreign passport can stay in Phu Quoc Island not more than 30 days without visa requirement.

In addition, foreigners who enter into national boundary gates in Vietnam (including air way and sea way) and stay in these international boundary gates to wait to transit into Phu Quoc Island can stay in Phu Quoc Island for 30 days without visa request.
